The speciality "support for life in a collective structure" certifies the skills needed to support interpersonal relationships and the quality of life of people in their collective living environment.

Theoretical and practical training breaks down into 4 areas of training:

Positioning oneself as a professional in the field of social action
Accompanying the person on a daily basis and in close proximity
Cooperating with all the professionals involved
Participating in leading the person's social and civic life

The training also includes 175 hours of practical training in professional situations.

Certificate Level 3 (CAP)

Total maximum duration of 340 hours, including 175 hours in a company and 165 hours at the training centre.
The duration of the course is indicative and will be determined according to your profile.

All audiences

Have one of the following qualifications: DEAVS, certificat d'aptitude aux fonctions d'aide à domicile (CAFAD), mention complémentaire aide à domicile (MCAD), DEAMP, certificat d'aptitude aux fonctions d'aide médico psychologique (CAFAMP)

or, having acquired some of the areas of competence (DC) of the DEAES through VAE

Teachers certified by the French Ministry of Education, trainers with 3 or more years of higher education and significant experience in adult education, professional lecturers.

The support worker for life in a collective structure will mainly work in a structure with elderly people, people with disabilities, sick people: EHPAD, USLD, MAS, FAM, MECS, IEM, IME, ITEP, foyers de vie

Holders of the DEAES benefit from exemptions from certain areas of training and selection tests
related to the State diploma of care assistant or the diploma of Monitor Educator.
