At the end of the apprenticeship, the holder of this vocational skills certificate will be able to:
- carry out routine improvement maintenance on a building's sanitary installations
- carry out routine preventive and corrective maintenance on a building's heating and sanitary installations and equipment
- diagnose any malfunctions or damage observed and carry out repairs within the limits of his/her skills, otherwise call in a specialist company.
- intervene on an occupied site, ensuring the protection of people during and after his/her intervention.
- engage in responsible and professional communication with the various departments of the establishment in which he/she works, with team members, the head of department and users.
- to take part in the continuous improvement process for quality, risk management and safety conditions for other staff, occupants, users, etc.
- to comply with and disseminate health and safety standards (monitoring of the health book, monitoring of the safety and fire prevention book), for the establishment in which they work (Establishment Receiving the Public)
Carry out routine improvement maintenance on a sanitary installation in a building
- Using a work sheet, plans and a description, carry out work on a sanitary installation: know how to use a work sheet, a sanitary installation plan, a manufacturer's document, a supplier's catalogue.
- Move or fit a sanitary appliance and connect it to the drainage and
water supply networks in compliance with professional rules (assembly, welding, fixing, bonding, sealing).
- Check the operation of the sanitary appliance.
- Withdraw the worksite and return the premises for operation (cleaning, waste management according to their classes).
- At the end of the operation, complete the work sheet on paper or digitally (smartphone, tablet or computer).
Perform routine preventive maintenance on the heating and sanitary installation and equipment of a building
- Using a work sheet, check the equipment in the heating and sanitary network to prevent any disorders from appearing.
- Take steps to ensure the safety of the heating and sanitary network when an anomaly is detected.
- At the end of the operation, complete the work sheet on paper or digitally (smartphone, tablet or computer).
- Know the standards and operating principles of a heating and sanitary installation.
- Know the preventive maintenance ranges for equipment, the safety rules for occupied sites and the regulations concerning establishments open to the public (ERP).
Perform routine corrective maintenance on a building's heating and sanitary installation and equipment
- diagnose the cause of a malfunction on a heating and sanitary installation.
- define and apply an intervention procedure to remedy the malfunction (making safe, operating procedure, materials and equipment used, troubleshooting or repair)
- Withdraw the worksite and return the premises for operation (cleaning, waste management according to their classes).
- At the end of the operation, fill in the intervention sheet on paper or digitally (smartphone, tablet or computer).
