This certificate of professional skills is the second of the Secrétaire Assistant(e) Médico-social(e) professional qualification.

At the end of this training, the holder of this certificate will be able, in compliance with professional secrecy and the establishment's quality approach, to provide reception and administrative care for patients or users.

He/she will be able to:
- inform and direct the public in a health, medico-social or social service
- plan and manage appointments for patients or users
- provide medico-administrative and social care for the patient or user

He/she will carry out his/her responsibilities within a multidisciplinary team, respecting confidentiality. .

Discovering the training course

- The CCP in the professional title, complementary skills for practising the profession.

Instructing and directing the public in a health, medico-social or social service

- Providing a physical reception for visitors

- Screening calls, providing information and directing patients, users or families to the relevant services.

Planning and managing patient or user appointments

- Making appointments and confirming them by post, email or text message.

- Monitoring cancellations and postponements and updating diaries in real time.

- Informing patients about reception times and the progress of their examination. Listening to the people they are dealing with, they assess the urgency of situations and gather information useful for dealing with requests.

- Communicating to patients or users any useful explanations about the progress of their journey and their care (administrative, medical, paramedical, social).

Assuring the medico-administrative and social care of the patient or user

- collecting, digitising and recording in the information system the data and documents required for the medico-administrative and social care of the patient or user (identity card, health insurance card, test results, supporting documents for resources, etc.), in compliance with legislation and identity-vigilance rules.

Total maximum duration of 1,283 hours, including 823 hours on the job and 460 hours at the training centre.

This specialisation gives you access to jobs as a medical secretary or medico-social secretary
