 CCP 1: "Carry out routine maintenance of a building's interior fittings" - Vocational qualification: Building Maintenance Worker

At the end of his/her training, the professional will have acquired the techniques, mastery of rules and procedures and organisational skills necessary to:

- Carry out routine multi-technical maintenance inside buildings

- Maintain a building's interior fittings in usable condition.

- Carry out scheduled maintenance operations (cleaning, checking, replacing components), joinery and closures in a building in order to prevent any disorder from appearing.

- Diagnose any malfunctions or damage observed and carry out repairs within the limits of his/her skills, otherwise call in a specialist company.

- Carry out routine improvement maintenance (various fittings, finishing), as part of renovation work on a room, premises.

- Intervene on an occupied site, integrating the rules and techniques for protecting people during and after his/her intervention.

- Communicate effectively with the staff in the various departments of the establishment, the line manager, other collaborators, external contributors and residents (hospitals, retirement homes, etc...)


Certification of professional skills 1 : Carry out routine maintenance on the interior fittings of a building

- Carry out routine improvement maintenance on the interior fittings of a building

- Carry out routine improvement maintenance on the interior linings of a building

-. Carry out routine preventive maintenance on a building's joinery and closures

- Carry out routine corrective maintenance on a building's interior fittings


On the basis of a work sheet, plans and a description of the work, deconstruct all or part of a non-structural structure.

Construct fixtures and fittings (partitions and/or ceilings).

Fit and install manufactured joinery elements (skirting boards, strips, shelves, partition nosings, etc.).

Finishing, laying ceramic tiles and/or PVC slabs on the floor, laying ceramic tiles and/or wall coverings on the wall and painting (B-quality finish), various substrates.

Assemble, set up and maintain small furniture kits.

At the end of the operation, fill in the work sheets on paper or digitally (smartphone, tablet or computer) and inform your line manager of any various disorders found requiring urgent intervention.


  • Certificate of Professional Competence (CCP) Level 3

Total duration of 777 hours, including 525 hours on the job and 252 hours at the training centre.
