CAP Upholsterer - Upholsterer of upholstered furniture

Acquire the theoretical and practical bases for upholstering seats, armchairs, sofas.

The holder of this diploma masters the characteristics of materials, products, their conditions of use.

He knows how to use hardware parts and accessories. He knows the usual manual and mechanical techniques, taking into account the nature of the material and its shape. He works taking into account the history and characteristics of the major furniture styles.

Vocational teaching modules:

• Practical and theoretical input with regard to seat upholstery
• Textile materials and tools
• First aid at work (SST);
• Prevention, health, environment

General teaching modules:

French, history-geography, mathematics, science, history of art, applied arts

NB: General education modules may be waived under certain conditions.
