Acquire the theoretical and practical foundations to carry out a hair hygiene and care activity, haircutting using basic techniques, routine styling, hair colouring and bleaching. Acquire the skills needed to advise and sell.

Vocational teaching modules:

Performing hairdressing services

Developing a diagnosis
Implementing a hygiene and hair care technique
Performing basic hairdressing techniques: Cut (women's, men's), Colour (colouring and colour effects), Shape (temporary shaping, lasting shaping by rolling, styling)

Establish a relationship with customers and take part in the company's business

Welcome customers and manage the booking of appointments
Advise on and sell services, equipment and hair care products
Contributing to the company's business

General education modules: French; history geography; mathematics and physical sciences

NB: General education modules may be waived under certain conditions.

Diploma from the Ministry of National Education and Youth Level 3 (CAP)

Maximum total duration of 3,640 hours, including 2,840 hours in a company and 800 hours at the training centre.
