At the end of this course, the professional will be able to:

- work in the building sector on new or renovation work in shell construction activities (construction of detached houses, collective buildings and industrial, tertiary or agricultural buildings.

- using plans and instructions, make formwork, additional reinforcement and lay concrete for works of limited size and complexity, mainly in detached houses or small apartment blocks.

- contribute to the production of vertical and horizontal coatings such as facade renderings, waterproofing renderings and screeds.

- contribute to compliance with energy and environmental regulatory requirements by routinely carrying out its operations on site as part of a team with other trades.

- carry out its activity in complete safety for itself and its environment by applying the planned occupational risk prevention measures, identifying unforeseen hazards, alerting and applying the instructions of its hierarchy.


Block 1 - Study and preparation of a job :

  • complete and pass on documents
  • decode a technical file
  • choose materials and tools
  • organise your job by adopting an eco-responsible attitude

Block 2 - Carry out and check a routine job :

  • determine the quantities of materials and components
  • organise your workstation and make your work safe
  • assemble, dismantle and use scaffolding
  • implant and mark out structures
  • make and set up formwork and reinforcement
  • fabricate and implement standard concretes, bio- and geo-sourced concretes
  • make masonry from small elements
  • finish vertical and horizontal structures
  • prepare, use and maintain equipment and tools
  • check the nature and conformity of supports
  • check the work carried out during execution and at the end of the work

Bloc 3 - Carrying out specific work :

  • exchanging and reporting orally
  • intervening near networks
  • putting in place and dismantling shoring
  • carrying out additional earthworks
  • carrying out buried networks
  • intervening on existing buildings
  • placing prefabricated elements

Moral and civic education: developing a critical mind, getting involved in a project and respecting a plurality of points of view.

French: written and oral expression, becoming a competent reader, reading, saying and writing about the profession.

History-Geography: contextualising, finding one's bearings, memorising, taking a historical or geographical approach and justifying it, collaborating and exchanging.

Mathematics / Physics - Chemistry: engage in a scientific approach and appropriate mathematical and scientific tools

Prevention Health Environment: risk prevention in the workplace, health and environment capital, the informed consumer individual.

Language 1: understanding, expressing oneself and interacting in written and spoken form in simple situations

EPS (for apprentices)


  • Diploma from the Ministry of National Education and Youth Level 3 (CAP)

Maximum total duration of 3,640 hours, including 2,840 hours in a company and 800 hours at the training centre.
The duration of the course is indicative and will be determined according to your profile.
