CAP Bodybuilder

The bodywork operator participates in the construction and/or transformation of chassis and bodywork.

He is involved in the assembly of running gear, equipment and accessories, and their connection.

Within the bodywork construction team, the bodywork operator:

• prepares for manufacture,
• debits, shapes components,
• assembles components and structures.
• prepare surfaces,
• participate in the installation of equipment and accessories and finallyinalise his intervention.

They may work in the construction of industrial vehicle bodies (transporting people and goods) or in workshops building, converting and fitting out specific vehicles (motor homes, ambulances, etc.).

Vocational subjects
Functional and structural analysis including reading the representation of a component or assembly as well as manufacturing data;
Bodywork construction: vehicles and bodywork; regulations relating to the placing of vehicles on the road; construction materials and components; manufacturing resources and techniques;
Functions related to the construction activity: communication; construction organisation; quality; health and safety at work teaching, waste sorting.
General education

French, English, Mathematics-Science, History-Geography, Physical and Sports Education

• Diploma from the Ministry of National Education and Youth Level 3
