CAP (vocational training certificate) for drivers of public works machinery and quarries

At the end of their training, professionals holding this certificate of professional competence will be able to:

- prepare a simple public works project : secure, mark out and lay out the work, communicating with their professional environment (user, local resident, hierarchy, team, other participants, etc.);

- carry out works specific to the site using extraction, loading, compacting and transport equipment, complying with regulatory requirements, safety measures and given operating procedures;

- programme and initiate periodic servicing operations and carry out simple maintenance work ;

- comply with measures relating to Quality, Safety (risk prevention) and the Environment (QSE)

- identify unforeseen hazards, alert and apply the instructions of his/her hierarchy;

- work as part of a team and coordinate his/her work with that of other trades.
