Bodybuilder CAP

Acquire skills in removing, repairing and refitting bodywork components, checking structures, preparing and carrying out paintwork.

The training is structured around skill blocks (BC):

BC01 - Intervention and repair on element

• Collecting the information required for the intervention
• Applying the repair methodology
• Remaking compliant
• Controlling the quality of its intervention

BC02 - Preparing backgrounds and surfaces

• Preparing backgrounds
• Preparing surfaces

BC03 - Work on non-removable structures and glazing

• Replace a structural element
• Make glazing compliant

BC04 - French and history-geography-moral and civic education

BC05 - Mathematics and physical chemistry

BC06 - Physical education and sport

BC07 - Prevention - health - environment

• Diploma from the Ministry of National Education and Youth Level 3 (CAP)

Coursework assessment (CCF)

The CAP leads to working life, but it is possible, under certain conditions, to continue studies in 1 year with a complementary qualification (MC) or in 2 years with a vocational baccalaureate.

They can work in an independent repair workshop or one attached to a manufacturer's network, or in the integrated workshop of a company or local authority.

Subsequently, they can choose to specialise in bodywork painting or the inspection and restoration of structures.
