CAP Security Agent

At the end of the course, the learner will be able to ensure safety in the following areas:

- protection of people,

- rescue of people,

- surveillance and protection of property,

- protection of the environment.

BC01 - Preventing and deterring malicious and negligent acts

• Preventing and deterring malicious and negligent acts

• Abtaining (on taking up post) information relating to security, surveillance devices, security systems, company culture, use of equipment, means of access

BC02 - Safety of people and property

• Identify and report risk-generating material situations
• Prevent risks
• Take appropriate measures to eliminate or limit the risk
• Set up a safety perimeter
• Act following an incident and take precautionary measures
• Act : Implement the actions and techniques required for PSE1 certification

BC03 - Fire safety

• Detect and report situations where there is a risk of fire
• Prevent fire risks
• Intervene : Implement the actions and techniques required for SSIAP1 certification
• Set up a fire safety perimeter

BC04 - French and History-geography - moral and civic education

BC05 - Mathematics and physics-chimie

BC06 - Éducation physique et sportive

BC07 - Prévention - santé - environnement

• Applier une méthode d'analyse d'une situation de la vie professionnelle ou quotidienne et d'une documentation
• Mettre en relation un phénomène physiologique, an environmental issue, a regulatory provision, with a preventive measure
• Propose a solution to resolve a problem related to health, the environment or consumption and argue for a choice
• Communicate in writing and orally using clear syntax and appropriate technical vocabulary
• Act in an emergency situation

In apprenticeship: Training is available within a minimum of 48 hours, subject to validation of your application and availability of places, until the end of the 1st month of the course

Successful completion of the "Security Agent" vocational aptitude certificate examination enables application to the National Council for Private Security Activities (CNAPS) for a "Surveillance Gardiennage" professional card.

Professional integration can be achieved in jobs offered by:

- companies with their own security service,

- companies providing security services,

- public sector structures.

After completing their diploma with specific certifications, holders of the CAP Security Agent may eventually be able to access other jobs: cash in transit, remote surveillance, physical protection of individuals, airport surveillance, dog teams...
