BTS TP - Public Works

Acquire the knowledge and skills required for site management.

- develop rigour, technical skills and the ability to react quickly and effectively to manage a project, design a structure, study and prepare a site, undertake and control work,

- effectively manage a team, lead it, advise it, structure its work

- master, in representation of the company, institutional and operational communication with professional stakeholders both internally and externally

- integrate sustainable development and ecological transformation logics into its management and site administration.

The course is structured around blocks of skills (BC)

BC01 - Project management

• Communicate in writing and orally
• Collaborate and supervise the completion of work
• Analyse, preventing and managing health and safety risks
• Analysing sustainable development issues and processes
• Analysing quality issues and procedures
• Analysing site planning and budget management
• Analysing the delivery of works

BC02 - Designing a structure

• Analysing a structure and its construction
• Designing a simple structure

BC03 - Site design and preparation

• Designing methods and resources, taking safety into account,
• environment and quality
• Producing the administrative and technical documents for the project
• Planning the work
• Drawing up the provisional site budget

BC04 - Layout and control of the work

- Site preparation Laying out and checking work

• Laying out and surveying work
• Analysing and checking work

General knowledge and expression block

• Represent a culture acquired during training
• Appreciate a message or a situation
• Communicate in writing or orally
• Apprehend a message
• Implementing a message

English block

• Expressing oneself and interacting professionally both orally and in writing

Mathematics block

• Mastery of basic algebraic and algorithmic operations
• Ability to locate, measure, configure
• Study continuous phenomena
• Knowledge of some statistical methods

Physics-Chemistry block

• Apprehend a problem, a material environment
• Analyse / Reason: propose or justify the validity of a model or a protocol
• Perform: use a model, implement an experimental protocol respecting safety rules
• Validate: critically analyse results, propose improvements to the approach
