BTS MS - Systems Maintenance - option A Production systems

Acquire the qualifications needed to work as a senior systems maintenance technician.

The holder of this BTS is able to master:

- corrective and preventive maintenance operations;

- improving operating safety;

- integrating new systems;

- organising maintenance activities;

- monitoring interventions and updating documentation;

- assessing maintenance costs;

- writing reports, internal and external communication for the maintenance department;

- leading and supervising intervention teams.

The training is structured around skill blocks (BC):

BC01 - Corrective maintenance

- Applying the plan of an investigation approach

- Restoring the function of an asset

- Commissioning and/or shutting down an asset

BC02 - Preventive maintenance

Technological baccalaureate (STI) or general scientific or industrial vocational baccalaureate or level 4 and 3 years' professional experience.

Mixed-group training:  Mixed-group apprentices are apprentices who follow their training within a class made up of pupils with school status. Acceptance is subject to validation by the host establishment and subject to available places. 

Apprenticeship training:The training is accessible subject to validation of your application as well as the position in the company (diploma compliance). 

The BTS is a diploma designed for professional integration as a senior technician in production or maintenance companies (industrial sector, chemicals, energy, agri-food, etc.). However, it is possible to go on to study for a professional degree (in maintenance, industrial management, industrial production, etc.), a LMD degree (in engineering sciences, for example) or engineering schools.
