The holder of the BTS Métiers de la coiffure has managerial, scientific and technical skills, enabling him or her to work for the various players in the hairdressing sector. He or she is able to:
Design and implement professional techniques
Ensure constant monitoring in the fields of hairdressing (standards, regulations...Developing innovative protocols in terms of services
Advising and selling products, services and equipment
Developing the operating project and/or business plan, monitoring and adapting it where necessary
Participating in the management of the business and measuring its performance
Managing and supervising staff
Participating in the launch of products, equipment and services
Developing service relationships
Managing and developing the "customer portfolio".
Professional teaching:
Science and technology: physics, chemistry, biology, cosmetology (cosmetics and hair products, safety, sensory approach, effectiveness, regulations-cosmetovigilance), technology and professional techniques (colouring, styling, care-cutting-hairstyling)
Professional environment: impact of the activity on the environment, layout and functionality of a hairdressing business, comfort and health at work
General teaching:general culture, foreign modern language
