Upon completion of the course, holders of this BTS qualification will be able to:
- to carry out the technical management of installations and structures, taking into account their overall impact on the environment (direct or indirect pollution) and the management of the corresponding by-products.
- to participate in technical studies across various fields: the environment, the design and modification of facilities, research and development, etc.
- to oversee the operation of the network and organise maintenance operations
- to supervise a team in water treatment, distribution, sanitation and purification operations, as well as in related activities in the environmental sector.
- to contribute to sustainable development by helping to ensure water quality, taking into account its intended use, energy savings and environmental impact.
- liaise with external partners: customers, partner companies, suppliers, government bodies, etc.
- to adapt to technological developments in instrumentation, electromechanical equipment, automation, and remote transmission and monitoring systems in order to carry out these tasks.
Skills module 1: Operation of treatment units and networks
