Acquire the skills to:

In a cross-disciplinary manner, the holder of the "Vehicle Maintenance" advanced technician's certificate mobilises:

• technical skills in different aspects of maintenance;
• organisational and management skills;
• information technology skills for communication purposes and the use of specialised software;
• internal (teamwork) and external (customer relations, technical assistance platform) communication skills;
• commercial skills.

The course is made up of Competency Blocks (CB):

BC01 - Systems analysis and performance monitoring

• Describing how a system works
• Identifying the input/output quantities of a system
• Characterising the performance of a system

BC02 - Managing an intervention -. Customer relations

• Propose economically appropriate solutions
• Apply appropriate preventive measures
• Provide technical support to employees
• Apply customer service relations (including in English)

BC03 - Intervention on a vehicle

- Management of a service call - vehicle repair Intervention on vehicle

BC04 - Knowledge of the company

The BTS Maintenance des véhicules option B véhicules de transport routier is open to anyone with a baccalauréat: bac professionnel de la maintenance et de la réparation, bac STI2D. Access is based on a portfolio, tests and/or interview.

Apprenticeship training: Training is available within a minimum of 48 hours, subject to validation of your application and the position in the company (diploma compliance), until the end of the 1st month in which the action begins.

It is possible to go on to a professional degree in the industrial production or maintenance sectors, an ATS preparatory class to enter an engineering school or a professional school for automotive network business (EPCRA).
