The holder of this BTS is a technician and operational manager with a solid knowledge of plastics processing. The technician's field of activity for this option POP covers production monitoring, in compliance with specifications (costs, deadlines, quality and compliance objectives), safety rules and sustainable development issues, and makes graduates capable of taking responsibility for a workshop or production cell and supervising teams.
At the end of their training, graduates will be able to:
The programme is structured around several skill blocks (BC):

- Define production processes;
- Define and implement tests or simulations to validate a solution;
- Define and organise working environments;
- Define a monitoring plan for the production of a plastic or composite part or subassembly or for the maintenance of tooling ;
- Propose technical, economic and environmental improvements;
- Plan a production run;
- Qualify production resources in production mode;
- Develop and qualify all or part of a tool.
