BTS Communication Project Design - Option A Multi-media Product Design

The holder of the BTS Étude de réalisation de projet de communication is capable :

- analyse the elements supplied by the client (specifications, mock-up, production file),

- implement the technical means for carrying out the order in compliance with the criteria of quality, quantity, costs and deadlines,

- ensure mastery of the layout and preparation of the communication medium, production and production monitoring.

Getting this BTS enables you to work as a designer, manufacturing agent, planning manager, team leader or workshop manager in companies in the graphic industries and communication sector or in the pre-press, printing-finishing, manufacturing and quality departments.

Option A of the BTS, focuses on the production of documents before printing.

The technician with this specialisation is able to:

- organise, plan and manage production,

- study and produce graphic products (organisation and preparation of data and elements of the communication medium, management of transmission, communication, transcoding and archiving systems for secure production).

- to ensure quality by complying with the company's own procedures,

- to manage first-level equipment maintenance,

- to comply with health, safety and environmental protection provisions specific to his/her profession.

General education modules:

Openings for this technician can be found in all companies in the graphic industries and communication sector (studio, publishing house, photoengraving workshop, printing works using one or more printing and finishing processes), in manufacturers and installers of equipment and/or systems, in the company's pre-press, printing-finishing, manufacturing and quality departments. The holder may also be part of a project team producing a multimedia medium.

The printed products option covers the manufacture of print-finished documents.
