The holder of this BTS is an operational technician and manager with solid plastics engineering knowledge. The field of activity of the graduate for the option POP relates to Production Steering and Optimisation. At the end of the course he/she will be able to:
Guarantee the "good practice" of personnel and equipment
Ensure the optimal management of production and the quality of manufactured products
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the manufacturing process by being a player at each stage of the process from production through to delivery
Conduct specific actions (reviews, control, corrective actions..), drafting and distributing procedures
Contributing to maintaining the high level of performance of the production line
Managing teams

General teaching modules: General culture and expression - Mathematics - Physical sciences - Modern foreign language (English Level B2 of the CEFR)

Maximum total duration of 3,650 hours, including 2,300 hours in a company and 1,350 hours at the training centre.

This BTS is designed for professional integration, in design offices, methods, industrialisation, production, testing and quality. With a good portfolio or a distinction in the exam, further study is possible in a professional degree in the materials field, LMD degree (L3 in engineering sciences), engineering school through parallel admissions or via an ATS preparatory class.

This BTS has two options: option CO Tooling Design, which is more upstream of the industrialisation phase, and option POP Production Steering and Optimisation, which is more downstream. GRETA CFA offers a choice of these 2 options, which enable the broadest spectrum to be covered by providing the skills required for the needs of various plastics processing companies.
