Achieving the Advanced Technician's Certificate (BTS) in "Electrical Engineering" enables you to become a specialist in "intelligent" electrical installations, which incorporate digital, communicating technologies and connected objects to serve energy challenges.
The technician designs, optimises and maintains these electrical installations from the point of energy production through to use, by integrating varied and innovative technical solutions.
The skills developed by the electrotechnical technician range from design to implementation, technical consultancy and maintenance of electrotechnical equipment or systems:
- Identify and take into account the standards, regulations applicable to the project/site
- Extract the information required to carry out the tasks
- Manage the risks and hazards associated with carrying out the tasks
- Communicate appropriately orally, in writing, including in English
- Interpret a customer/user need, a CCTP, a specification
- Model the behaviour of all or part of a structure, an installation, electrical equipment
- Simulate the behaviour of all or part of a structure, an installation, electrical equipment
- Size the components of a structure, an installation, electrical equipment
- Choose the components of a structure, installation, electrical equipment
- Propose the architecture of a structure, installation, electrical equipment
- Produce the technical documents (plans, diagrams, DOE, virtual mock-up, etc.) for the project/work site
- Manage and lead (including with documents for: organisation, planning, monitoring, steering, acceptance, etc.) of the project/work site
- Measure the characteristic quantities of a work, an installation, electrical equipment
- Carry out a work, an installation, electrical equipment
- Configure and programme equipment as part of the project/work site
- Apply a protocol to commission a work, installation, electrical equipment
- Carry out a performance diagnosis including energy, safety, of a structure, installation, electrical equipment
- Carry out maintenance operations on a structure, installation, electrical equipment
