Acquire the qualifications needed to hold a job as a senior technician in the banking sector.

The holder of this BTS is mainly required to perform the duties of an account manager.

His or her mission is organised around 3 axes:

- Build and develop a relationship of trust with each customer, within the framework of the commercial policy laid down by his or her establishment.

- Develop a customer base quantitatively and qualitatively, in particular by improving the rate at which customers are equipped with products and services

- Contribute, through personal action, to a high-quality welcome.

In this capacity, he/she will be responsible for all operations necessary for the smooth running of customer accounts, such as the distribution of products and services attached to accounts, the promotion and use of NICTs, the distribution of savings products, the promotion of consumer loans, mortgages and insurance products.


Vocational teaching modules:

  • Customer relationship management: reception, getting to know the customer, informing the customer, giving advice, formalising the sale, following up the relationship.
  • Developing and monitoring commercial activity: opening, operating and closing accounts, distributing account-related products and services, providing and monitoring means of payment, distributing savings products and financial instruments, distributing loans to individuals, distributing insurance products, analysing a customer portfolio, managing and developing a customer portfolio, using the commercial information system, participating in day-to-day risk management.
  • The economic, legal and organisational environment of banking: identifying the activities and players in the world of banking and finance, organising commercial activity in a competitive environment, using the legal framework in customer relations, economic and social monitoring, controlling customer transactions.
  • Professionalization workshops: these aim to develop students' professionalism and improve their chances of finding a job or continuing their studies.

General teaching modules: General culture and expression; Modern foreign language

  • Diploma from the Ministry of National Education and Youth Level 5 (BTS)

Maximum total duration of 2179 hours, including 640 hours in a company and 1539 hours at the training centre.

The target job is that of "customer adviser" for individuals, working in branches and remote relations structures.

The professional may also be assigned to entities attached to the "transaction processing" category, better known as the middle office and back office.

With a very good record, further study may be considered in a professional degree in the banking-finance field.
