The holder of the Advanced Aeronautical Technician's Certificate is a specialist who, at aircraft assembly and maintenance sites, participates in engineering to prepare operators' activities, intervenes in production to control, adapt and fine-tune on-board systems and equipment and ensures technical relations between the manufacturer or maintenance company and customers.- taking part in all stages of engineering (organisation, design, verification), - carrying out inspections, tests, diagnostics and fine-tuning on aircraft during assembly, including ramp assembly, and/or base or line maintenance, - providing independent technical support to customers.
Alone or as part of a team, you may be required to work on an aircraft wherever it is, particularly in a foreign country, and consequently have to adapt to local constraints and regulations.
In order to carry out their job, senior aeronautical technicians must be good communicators, team players, able to manage priorities and demonstrate autonomy, responsiveness and initiative.
An excellent command of the English language is required: frequent contact with customers, often English-speaking, work sometimes carried out in foreign countries, documentation generally written in English

The course is structured around different skill blocks (BC)

Design assembly and maintenance processes

BC03 - Control and testing
Implement operational processes
Detect non-conformities or breakdowns
Diagnose the causes of nonconformities or breakdowns
Conducting an inspection or test
Providing traceability
BC04 - Monitoring production in the workplace
Managing the human resources required to conduct a technical activity
Managing a schedule
Controlling the application of regulations
Providing a regulatory watch
BC05 - Continuing airworthiness and technical documentation carried out in-house

Maximum total duration of 3,650 hours, including 2,300 hours in a company and 1,350 hours at the training centre.
