 BPJEPS - Speciality Sports Educator with a specialisation in Multi physical activities or sports for all

At the end of the training, the holder of this BPJEPS is able to carry out the following activities:

  • Gathering information with a view to taking stock of the structure's environment, the needs of the public and the funding/resources that can be mobilised in the field of sport or entertainment
  • Proposing projects within the framework of the organisation of the structure responding to changes in the needs of the public
  • Organisation, implementation and supervision of the realisation of a project within the organisation of the structure in the field of sport or entertainment
  • Evaluation of the project in the field of sport or entertainment and transmission of information within the structure on the public welcomed
  • Information and mobilisation of the public, and their entourage, within the framework of the activities of a structure acting in the field of sport or entertainment
  • Implementation for the public of promotional actions, initiation and learning sessions in physical and sports activities
  • Evaluation of sessions and cycles of discovery, initiation and learning sessions in physical and sports activities


In accordance with the provisions of article L 212-1 of the French Sports Code, the supervision of physical or sports activities requires the possession of a professional certificate listed in appendix II-1 of the same code. The "brevet professionnel de la jeunesse, de l'éducation populaire et du sport (BPJEPS)" speciality "éducateur sportif" mention "multi activités physiques ou sportives pour tous" enables this qualification requirement to be met.


BC01 - Design and implement activity projects as part of the work organisation of a structure in the field of sport or activity

  • Locate yourself in your area and identify the local players
  • Identify the needs of the various target audiences with particular attention to audiences in a disability situation(s)
  • Propose and organise a project taking into account the resources that can be mobilised within the structure, and the potential ecological impact of the project
  • Monitor the actions carried out by organising those of each team member
  • Fulfil administrative obligations using various digital tools
  • Report the project's conclusions to its manager, identifying the main positive factors and points for improvement

BC02 - Promoting the activities and projects of a structure in the field of sport or entertainment

  • Communicating information about the activities on offer
  • Adapting your communication to the characteristics and needs of the public, particularly those with disabilities,
  • Select tools and write communication content

BC03 - Design, lead, in safety and evaluate sessions and cycles of sessions for the discovery, initiation and learning of physical activities or sports within the framework of the project and work organisation

  • Define the aims of a cycle of sessions of physical activities and sports, taking into account the structure's project and work organisation and the characteristics of the public, in particular those who are far from practising sport or who have a disability
  • Defining the conditions for carrying out a session with a view to ensuring the safety of participants and third parties and compliance with the regulations in force
  • Check the human and material resources needed to run a session, making sure they are available and that the equipment is working properly
  • Welcome participants to a session, with a view to creating a dynamic that encourages them to get involved, particularly those with disabilities
  • Present the rules to be observed during a session in order to meet the objectives set and ensure the safety of the participants
  • Lead a session, taking into account the reactions and achievements of the participants
  • Represent the risks, any obstacles or difficulties encountered by participants, in order to provide personalised advice and intervene in the event of an accident situation
  • Analysing and evaluating a cycle of sessions, checking that they are in line with the objectives set and analysing the results obtained, with a view to improving practice

Maximum total duration of 1,139 hours, including 453 hours on the job and 686 hours at the training centre.
The duration of the course is indicative and will be determined according to your profile.

To be able to Join the training :

Hold the PSC1 (or equivalent)

Pass the Tests d'Exigences Préalables à l'entrée en formation (TEP which are physical tests). Passing these tests is compulsory, according to the regulations governing the diploma, before entry to the course. These TEPs are offered by our organisation.

The strengths of the establishment:

Most of the lecturers have been working for GRETA for many years on this course, but they are also professionals in sports activities with all types of public. Some of them work in specialised facilities for people with disabilities.

Former GRETA trainees who have been taken on in professional structures become "company tutors" for our new trainees, knowing the quality of our training.
