Acquire the qualifications needed to become a highly qualified professional in the hairdressing field.

The holder of this BP Coiffure combines the dexterity of the hairdresser with the rigour of the manager.

He masters all the techniques of hair care, cutting, colouring or styling. They welcome customers, advise them and create personalised hairstyles.

They also take part in the administrative and financial management of the business. They sell and develop products or services, and may be required to manage staff.

The Hairdressing BP enables you to become a business leader, knowing how to manage, manage and train apprentices. It gives its holders the opportunity to move into supervisory positions (salon manager), consultancy or leadership.

The course is made up of Competency Blocks (CB)

BC01 - Creation, colour, cut, styling

Managing products and materials
Planning activities
Designing a personalised hairstyle
Implementing colouring and lightening techniques
Creating and performing cuts
Designing and performing temporary styling and styling

BC02 - Lasting modification of the shape of a hairstyle

Implement hair care techniques
Implement techniques for lasting modification of the shape of a hairstyle
Assess the implementation and result of a hairstyling technique

BC03 - Event hairstyling (Option A)

Design and produce event hairstyles

BC04 - Men's haircut and maintenance of the pilo-facial system (Option B)

Produce specific men's haircuts
Design and produce a trim of the pilo-facial

BC05 - Advisory sales

Passing on information and reporting
Monitoring the quality of customer reception and care
Developing the sale of products and services
Advising on and selling products, equipment and services
Evaluate customer satisfaction

BC06 - Management and running a hairdressing salon

Collect, select and process information
Lead and supervise staff
Participate in the management of the business
Evaluate the work of staff

BC07 - Arts applied to the profession

Analysis and creation of a hairstyle from a given specification and referenced documentation

BC08 - French expression and knowledge of the world

Produce and analyse speeches of a varied nature
Produce and analyse media using different languages
Mobilise the culture acquired during training to produce and analyse speeches and media
Construct a personal reflection based on proposed documents, on work done in class, on reading and on personal and professional experience

Diploma from the Ministry of National Education and Youth Level 4 (Baccalauréat, BP, BT)

Maximum total duration of 3,640 hours, including 2,840 hours in a company and 800 hours at the training centre.
