BAC PRO Machining Technician

To train workshop technicians with overall mastery of the management and operation of a set of production resources relating to obtaining a family of products.
To prepare for the Bac Professionnel Machining Technician.

The holder of the Bac Professionnel machining technician must be able to:

• analyse the products to be manufactured, production and assembly systems and techniques and manage and arrange tooling

• intervene in the programming of Numerically Controlled Machine Tools.

The trainee will also be required to:

• Know production management.
• Deepen their knowledge of numerical control.
• Integrate the basics of CAD and CAD.
• Work on three-dimensional machines and machining
  units.
• Perform surveillance and/or planned
  operations and communicate with the
  users of the goods on which he/she works
• Participate in the improvement or modification of the
  equipment on which he/she works
• Participate in the installation and commissioning of
  new equipment

• French; History-Geography; Applied arts
• Mathematics and sciences

• Diploma from the Ministry of National Education and Youth Level 4 (Baccalauréat, BP, BT)

BEP CAP in the field or first general or equivalent professional experience

• Fully classroom-based training

• Group lessons

EN-certified teachers, Bac +3 trainers with significant experience in adult education, professional lecturers

Entry into employment in various sectors: mechanical industry (manufacture of industrial equipment, toolmaking), aeronautics, automotive, electrical construction and others.

The primary aim of this bac pro is professional integration but, with a very good record or a distinction in the exam, further study is possible in a BTS.
