The technician with this vocational baccalaureate will be able to:

- maintain textile items in both craft and industrial companies or in a department integrated into a hospital establishment, clinic, retirement home, hotel structure, restaurant, medical practice.

- master all garment refurbishment techniques (stain removal, cleaning and washing, additional treatments and finishing).

- conduct technical operations and control the quality of finish of the work required.

- participate in the maintenance of installations and the commercial management of the company.

- supervise and lead a team or welcome and advise customers.


The course is organised into several skill modules, enabling step-by-step progression. It alternates between theoretical input, practical exercises and assessment sessions to promote practical and progressive learning.

BC01: Communication and Information Management

  • Communicating with clients and service providers;
  • Using the information and documents required to carry out the task;
  • Ensuring the traceability of items;
  • Closing the service

BC02: Handling of items

  • Identify and prepare the production process: sort items
  • Carry out item maintenance procedures
  • Carry out item finishing operations: drying, finishing, ironing, folding, repairing, packaging, storing
  • Prepare items for delivery
  • Maintain equipment and systems in working order
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental protection regulations;

BC03: Preparation and organisation of a production activity

  • Organising production: stock levels and operations
  • Managing a team
  • Implementing quality procedures

BC04: Mathematics

BC07: Health, safety and the environment

Throughout the course, learners receive personalised support with regular monitoring by the teaching team and progress reviews to tailor learning to each individual’s needs.

A work placement also enables students to develop professional skills in a real-world setting.

Skills are assessed progressively through role-plays, practical exercises, professional projects and assessments carried out throughout the course.

Our teaching methodology prioritises a practical, work-focused approach: case studies, role-plays, practical scenarios and collaborative activities enable learning in conditions that closely resemble the real-world workplace.

Education Nationale certified teachers, Bac +3 trainers with significant experience in adult education, professional lecturers.


Assessments are organised throughout the course and at the end of the programme, in accordance with the qualification framework. Assessment tests may take the form of in-course assessments (CCF) and/or final examinations.

Support with exam preparation is provided throughout the course to help candidates succeed.

This qualification is awarded following validation by the academic examination board.

If a candidate fails the qualification, they retain credit for the modules they have passed and may retake the remaining examinations at a later date. The modules passed remain valid for 5 years

Apprenticeship: The course is available within a minimum of 48 hours, subject to validation of your application and availability of places, until the end of the 1st month of the course.

Professional integration in the following sectors:

- dry-cleaning companies, small-scale or members of a chain;
- public hospital and territorial laundries (EHPAD, armed forces);
- linen hire companies;
- ESAT & EA laundry workshops;
- self-employed, personal assistance service companies, accommodation and hotel structures.

Depending on the experience gained, they can progress to team leader, shop manager, manager or company director positions.
