Test proficiency in information society technologies within the framework defined by the recommendations of the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union on Key Competences.

The B2I Adults consists of 5 domains to be validated in full.

Domain 1: Computer environment

Knowing the specific vocabulary and mastering the basic hardware elements and software
Managing and organising files, identifying their properties and characteristics
Organising, personalising and managing a computer environment
Connecting, identifying oneself on different types of networks

Domain 2: Civic attitude

Knowing the rules of use and the dangers associated with networks and data exchanges
Knowing the rights and obligations relating to the use of computers and the Internet
Protecting personal information; taking part in the information society in its administrative and civic dimensions

Domain 3: Processing and production

Designing a document: objective, approach, choice of tool
Implementing the basic functions of software; producing and distributing a composite document

Domain 4: Searching for information

Collecting information from different media
Designing an approach suited to the information-seeking objective and implementing it
Identifying, organising information; evaluating the quality and relevance of information; carrying out an information watch

Domain 5: Communication

Use a communication tool adapted to needs
Exchange digital documents; collaborate in a network
