Waste sorting and recovery agent

At the end of the training course, the applicant will be able to:

• Identify the regulatory framework relating to waste sorting
• Know the waste cycle and identify the waste and products to be sorted
• Perform operations relating to the reception of incoming waste and products
• Perform operations relating to the manual sorting of waste and products
• Perform operations relating to the simple treatment and/or packaging and storage of sorted waste and products
• Comply with and implement safety and environmental instructions
• Use the equipment provided appropriately
• Communicate, knowing how to inform users and your professional environment

Module 1- Managing waste: Receiving waste, sorting material, maintaining and securing a site, securing oneself in a working position.

Module 2- Recovering materials: Mastering the composting process, setting up the bins needed to install and manage a collective composting station for receiving, storing and processing waste. Carry out preparatory work for receiving waste. Incorporate appropriate components and additives to treat waste. Apply instructions and adapt when designing objects or fittings. Design an object or layout using materials present in waste.

Module 3- Communicate in a professional situation: Greet and inform people, a public as part of the day-to-day exercise of your profession.

Module 4- Build your professional project and network: Maintain a professional posture and behaviour, manage your professional project.

Module 5: On-the-job training in a company (on a sorting platform)
