Refresher training and updating the skills of care assistants graduating before July 2022, in line with the Order of 10 June 2021 relating to training leading to the state diploma in care assisting, the DEAS. The skills of care assistants have been extended. New procedures can be carried out in collaboration with nurses.

Apprehend the evolution of the profession and integrate the regulatory principles of the new professional practice of aide-soignant(e)

Operate a questioning on its professional practice to develop and enhance its skills

Know the technical gestures defined in the new reference material of the DEAS


    1 - Presentation of the new training reference framework & legislative framework for the practice of the nursing auxiliary profession

    Collaborative role between nursing auxiliaries and nurses

    The reflective approach: Analysing and reporting on professional situations

    2 - Presentation of the new care attributed to care assistants by the reference system

    Oxygen therapy and management of O2 equipment, O2 saturation, endo-tracheal suctioning, aseptic urine collection, suppository administration, pharmacology concepts, capillary glycaemia, eye drop instillation, eyewash...

    3 - Facilitation: the new care assistant

    How do you offer suitable entertainment?

    What is the aim of animation?

    How can it be integrated into the care plan?

    4 - Presentation of the new methods and tools for supervising student care assistants

    The portfolio

    The monitoring booklet for AS in apprenticeship

    Management of student absences

    Validation of skills during placements

    Validation of modules and graduation

    5 - Refresher course on knowledge and 1st emergency actions:

    Reviews of good practice in emergency actions. (Non-certifying)

    6 - Stakes of the quality approach in a healthcare facility

    What is the quality approach?

    What is it used for?
