Training to update the skills of care assistants in accordance with the order of 26.02.2025 relating to the training to update the skills of care assistants who graduated before the reengineering of the State diploma of 2021, with a view to carrying out the care authorised during the reengineering of the State diploma of care assistant of 2021 and within the limits of the skills of the profession.
I. Module A: Researching and analysing information to identify the person's general condition, adapting activities according to their age and care environment (1 day)
Objectives:
1. Measure the parameters used to assess the person's state of health;
2. Record and analyse the data from these measurements in relation to standards;
3. Alert if a deviation is observed and trace the data accurately.
Content:
1. Anatomy/physiology reminders in relation to the parameters cited in the 2021 reference;
2. Qualitative and quantitative measurement of parameters enabling the person's state of health to be assessed;
3. Identification of abnormal data or a risk;
4. Alert and implementation of actions within the field of competence of the care assistant;
5. Traceability of data with accuracy.
II. Module B: Implement new authorised care in acute situations, evaluate and readjust (1 day)
Objectives:
1. Implement personalised care in acute situations in collaboration with the nurse and in liaison with the multi-professional team based on the assessment of the situation;
2. Assess the quality of care provided;
3. Identify the elements to be readjusted;
4. Readjust his/her intervention.
Content:
carrying out care acquired during the reengineering of the 2021 state nursing assistant diploma.
Module C: Identify and analyse the various risk situations when accompanying the person and the appropriate preventive actions (1 day)
1. Identify signs that may suggest potential fragility or vulnerability in the various areas of daily life and pass on the necessary information as part of a multi-professional collaboration;
2. Identify situations at risk, in particular abuse, for the person, for care workers or for close carers and sound the alarm;
3. Propose preventive measures within the field of intervention and as part of a multi-professional collaboration;
4. Evaluate the measures implemented where appropriate.

Attestation of acquired skills: In accordance with the evaluation criteria set out in the appendix to the decree of 26/02/2025 relating to training to update the skills of care assistants who graduated before the reengineering of the State diploma in 2021, the attestation of acquired skills is issued if the evaluations of the three modules are validated. In the absence of validation, the care assistant will be issued with a training follow-up certificate.
