Le Pôle Formation GRETA du Var, which became a department of GIP FIPAN in 2025, is a player in continuing vocational training within the Académie de Nice.

Its offering is organised around several major sectors, to meet the skills needs of companies, employees and jobseekers.

These sectors mainly offer work-linked vocational diplomas and professional certifications, enabling students to gain lasting skills and qualifications:

• BTP - Energy: a range of training courses geared towards the energy transition and new construction methods, to meet environmental challenges and the high recruitment pressures in the sector.
• Industry, naval mechanics and boating: courses leading to qualifications at the heart of tomorrow's technical know-how, designed to support the modernisation of production tools and local industrial dynamism.
• Tertiary, digital transition, HR, administrative and commercial functions: training courses in phase with digital changes, performance requirements and new forms of customer relations and human resources.
• Tourism, hotels, catering, food: a key sector in our region, with courses designed to promote excellence in hospitality, culinary know-how and operational skills.

• Health - Medical and social care: career paths leading to human and meaningful careers, serving people and solidarity, in a fast-changing sector.
• Safety - Cleaning: certification courses adapted to regulatory requirements and growing needs in prevention, safety and hygiene in all professional environments.
• Training, integration and languages: schemes to promote sustainable integration, retraining and language skills, which are essential for professional mobility and adapting to changes in the market.
• Skills assessment centre: individualised support to take stock, reposition yourself or build a new professional project with complete confidence.

The headquarters of the GRETA du Var Training Centre is now located within the GIP FIPAN, affirming its strategic role in the development of skills and employability at the service of the region.
