The holder of the Wood Construction CAP carries out his activities within companies in the carpentry and wood construction sectors. Their field of activity is the construction or renovation of structures and frameworks made of wood and wood derivatives for buildings and structures intended for:

housing (individual or collective)
professional premises (factories, offices)
public premises: schools and training centres, sports and hospital premises, places of worship, entertainment venues, etc. ...

He prepares and implements timber and timber-based structures on site: framework, framing (vertical, horizontal), cladding (exterior, interior), stairs. He traces timbers and components, he cuts and machines, he assembles, mounts and prefabricates a workshop, he treats wood. He knows the main materials used.

General education modules: French; Maths; History geography; Physical sciences
