 Accounting and Tax Manager vocational qualification

The accounting and tax manager draws up the various accounting and tax documents required for the company's annual or multi-year asset and management analysis.

On completion of this training course, the trainee will be able to meet all the requirements of the position:

-Typing entries, analysis forming part of internal control

- Periodic, monthly, quarterly or annual inventory work

- Presentation of periodic accounts r

- Management of company taxation (VAT, Operating taxation) taking into account complexities such as those relating to territorial conditions (new business, urban free zones, rural revitalisation zones...)

- Analysis of accounts using ratios and restatement of accounting items to highlight management elements enabling the decision-maker to define an action plan

- Carrying out all accounting and management work

- Relations with customers, suppliers, financial organisations, tax and social security authorities

- Use of software specific to his/her activity and, more generally, office automation tools (spreadsheets, means of communication and digital transfer)

BC 02 - Certificate of competence - Drawing up and checking tax returns

BC 03 - Certificate of professional competence - Drawing up and presenting business activity forecasts
Analysing summary accounting statements
Drawing up and presenting budgets and financial forecasts

Maximum total duration of 820 hours, including 140 hours in a company and 680 hours at the training centre.
The duration of the course is indicative and will be determined according to your profile.

Level IV (baccalauréat or Min du travail professional qualification) in accounting

or Level Bac+1 with proven writing skills, with a good ability to analyse administrative or legal texts.

Equivalences and pathways: to be assessed on a case-by-case basis depending on the candidate’s background: After completing the Accounting and Tax Manager vocational qualification (a professional qualification registered with the RNCP, generally level 6 – equivalent to a three-year higher education degree), several options are available. Direct entry into the workforce The qualification is designed to provide access to roles such as: Accounting Manager General Accountant Sole Accountant in an SME Accounting Assistant in a practice Junior Management Controller Junior Accounting Manager. Further study in accounting and management Certain courses are accessible via application: DCG (Diplôme de Comptabilité et de Gestion) – sometimes with partial exemptions depending on the institution; Professional Bachelor’s degree in accounting, management or finance; Bachelor’s degree in accounting/management at certain schools. Progression to chartered accountancy qualifications (via the standard route) The recognised pathway in the accounting sector is: DCG (3 years of higher education) followed by DSCG (5 years of higher education) and then DEC (chartered accountant). Admission will depend on the institution’s acceptance and any equivalencies. Specialised further training Available for specialisation: taxation, management control, auditing, financial management, accounting software and ERP. Career progression With experience: Chief Accountant, Administrative and Financial Manager (RAF), Management Controller, Senior Accountant in a firm.
