APS professional qualification - Prevention and security agent

- Acquire the knowledge required to sit the exam leading to the professional certificate for safety and security officers.

- Professionally carry out reception, information and advisory duties in line with the corporate image of the company and/or client employing them. 

- Comply with legislation and the rules of discretion and confidentiality.

• Professional qualification awarded by ADEF (Association pour le développement de la formation professionnelle dans la branche sécurité privée - Association for the development of professional training in the private security industry) Level 3

The duration of the course is indicative and will be determined according to your profile.

• All audiences

Provide prior authorisation to enter training issued by the CNAPS (clean criminal record) or provide a copy of the valid professional card. Only candidates having written confirmation of this prior authorisationmay join the training course.

The CNAPS response time may vary depending on the investigation carried out (between 8 days and one and a half months on average).

Non-European Union nationals must hold a 5-year uninterrupted residence permit on French territory (verification carried out by the CNAPS cf fichier des étrangers résidant en France).

Depending on the profile, it is possible to undertake the BP ATPS (Professional Certificate in Technical Prevention and Security), the Vocational Baccalaureate in Security, or the BTS MOS (Operational Security Management) to broaden one’s skills. 

The TFP in Prevention and Security provides immediate access to the job market in the private security sector. Qualified individuals can work as security officers, prevention officers, access control officers or security guards, depending on the needs of the companies. This qualification provides a solid foundation for progression to specialised roles such as airport security, video surveillance, dog handling, close protection or any other profession within the private security sector.
