At the end of their training, trained professionals will be able to:

- master several techniques to choose the options and methods of intervention according to the task entrusted to them.

- intervene effectively and discreetly while respecting sustainable development and safety constraints.

- clean and maintain their equipment

- interact positively with customers and users on sites where the latter are active.

BC 01: Managing relations with users to ensure the smooth running of the clean-up works

Effectiveness and quality of communication with users to discuss the nature of the work to be carried out.

Identifying any disruption caused by the works so that users can be informed

Collecting any requests or complaints from customers for direct handling and/or forwarding to management

BC 02 :Technical preparation of the cleaning project

Selection of equipment and products based on the surface type, the location and its use, and the degree of soiling.

Checking that safety devices are in working order and ensuring compliance with access conditions (opening, closing, alarms)

Availability and set-up of the products, materials and equipment required for the work

Efficient preparation of the trolley, tools, materials and consumables

Demarcation of the work area and protection of property and premises.

Application of service protocols and instructions (uniform, hygiene, safety)

Compliance with the conditions of use for materials and products (storage and handling)

Measuring out chemicals whilst applying safety rules

Rinsing packaging before disposal

BC 03 :carrying out professional cleaning techniques

Use of dust-removal equipment: wet mopping, dry mopping, vacuuming, whilst proactively applying environmentally friendly practices and good ergonomics

Washing and disinfecting a toilet block and its fittings

Dust removal and cleaning of horizontal and vertical surfaces, furniture and furnishings

Manual floor maintenance

Routine office maintenance

Stain removal from textile coverings (with a preliminary test)

Polishing

Spray method

Mechanised cleaning using appropriate equipment

Appropriate movements and postures for carrying and handling PPE

Collection and sorting of non-hazardous industrial waste

Compliance with waste management procedures

Self-assessment of work and visual assessment of quality

Managing and respecting the presence of the customer/user

Tidying up

Routine equipment maintenance instructions: necessary adjustments and calibrations to operational equipment

Cleaning of equipment and first-level maintenance procedures.

This course consists of certified skill modules, which can be undertaken and assessed separately.

Formative assessments are organised throughout the course to evaluate the candidate’s progress and their mastery of professional skills.

Examinations take place at the end of the course (final assessment) based on a professional portfolio and an interview with a panel of industry experts.
