Acquire the knowledge needed to ensure the safety of people and fire safety in public buildings (Etablissements Recevant du Public - ERP) and high-rise buildings (Immeubles de Grande Hauteur - IGH)
This certificate enables its holder to:
- Raise employee awareness
- Respond to an outbreak of fire
- Alert, evacuate the public and welcome the emergency services
- Maintain the emergency equipment
- Fire and its consequences: fire behaviour
- Fire safety: principles for classifying premises, general principles of fire safety, building access routes, compartmentalisation, evacuation, smoke extraction, emergency lighting, emergency equipment
- Technical installations: electrical installations, lifts and aerial work platforms, fixed installations, dry and wet risers, fire alarm systems
- The role and duties of fire safety officers: safety service, safety instructions and logbook, security post, security patrols and supervision of building works, use of fire-extinguishing equipment, calling and receiving emergency services, raising awareness amongst occupants
- Additional modules may be offered (occupational health and safety, first aid, electrical accreditation, etc.)

The training takes place in person at the centre, which provides the ideal setting for building group dynamics, encouraging interactive discussions between trainees and making use of professional equipment.
