A multi-skilled dry cleaner/laundry worker cleans, removes stains and irons textiles entrusted to him/her by a customer. He or she works alone or in a team under the responsibility of a manager. He or she will
- Receive items and advise customers
- Start production, cleaning, stain removal and ironing
- Maintain workstations while complying with health and safety rules
- Carries out minor sewing work
The training consists of 4 sections;
Customer relations, advice, collection - 90 hours
Customer care
Receipt of item(s) and assessment of the work to be done
Informing the customer about services, current promotions....
Collecting and giving the customer proof of deposit and payment
Searching for and checking the item(s) to be returned
Taking care of observations, customer complaints and item returns
Stocking, maintenance of reception counter
Production division: reception, cleaning, stain removal, ironing, sewing - 225 hours
Preparation and distribution of items for treatments
Identification of tasks, fibre composition of items to be treated and choice of stain removal products
Starting up the production process
Implementation of stain removal procedures in compliance with safety rules
Quality control of stain-removed items
Maintenance of workstation and equipment
Washing machines, dry cleaning and drying
Loading items and unloading machines at the end of the cycle
Cycle monitoring
Quality control of washed items, dried items leaving the machine
Maintenance of the workstation and machines
Implementation of ironing procedures in compliance with safety rules
Hanging or folding items
Quality control of ironed items
Stitching and alterations
The French department with specific objectives - 35 hours
