MAC Electronic security / remote surveillance agent

This training course enables security officers to maintain and update the skills required by regulations as part of the renewal process for their professional licence in Human Surveillance, Surveillance using Electronic Security Systems, Security Guarding or Remote Surveillance.

The training must be completed within 36 months prior to the expiry date of the licence. 

The three main objectives of this MAC are:

• To update knowledge of the key principles governing the profession of private security officer specialising in remote surveillance and professional ethics
• To update knowledge of the security environment and the current state of the profession
• To master operational tools

The training course, which lasts a total of 24 hours, consists of three modules:

Module: Legal framework for private security officers – 10 hours

• Refresher course on the key principles governing the role of private security officers specialising in remote surveillance and professional ethics (7 hours)
• Understanding the principles of the French Republic (3 hours)

Professional Framework Module – 7 hours:

•  Updating knowledge relating to the security environment and the state of the profession 

Technical Resources Module – 7 hours

• technological developments in electronic surveillance
• standards specific to the remote surveillance sector
• specialised software and tools

Hold a professional licence specifying ‘human surveillance’, ‘surveillance using electronic security measures’, ‘security guarding’ or ‘remote surveillance officer’.

The training must be completed within 36 months prior to the expiry date of the card.

12 people maximum

• Fully classroom-based training

• Unmarked room with video projector

Positioning upstream of training entry.

Taking account of beneficiary satisfaction during and at the end of training.

For beneficiaries with disabilities: possible adaptation of training and certification arrangements, support from the GRETA-CFA TH referent.

Education Nationale certified teachers, Bac +3 trainers with significant experience in adult education, professional lecturers.
