Home automation professional degree

The aim of this course is to enable technicians with a 2-year higher education qualification to progress to coordinator roles by acquiring not only technical expertise but also management, project management and negotiation and sales skills. They will thus be able to advise a customer on the choice of a technical solution and then coordinate the various players on the site until the work is handed over.

Vocational training modules:

BC01 - Using standard digital tools
- Use standard digital tools and IT security rules to acquire, process, produce and disseminate information, as well as to collaborate internally and externally

BC06 - Design and develop a home automation/ Building Automation / Security project

- Understand the expression of a requirement and its technical specifications

- Incorporate user challenges and real-world usage into system design

BC07 - Integrate, install and troubleshoot home automation, building automation and security technologies in the construction or renovation of buildings

- Implement the specific technologies and protocols used in smart and connected buildings

- Design an algorithm that meets a set of specifications

BC08 - Sell and advise on solutions and services in the home automation, building automation and security sectors

- Identify a client’s needs and translate them into proposals

- Prepare a quotation in line with the client’s needs

- Advise clients whilst complying with regulations

General education modules:

BC02 - Analyse data for analytical purposes

- Critically identify, select and analyse various resources within one’s field of specialism to research a topic and summarise this data for use

- Develop a line of argument with a critical mindset

BC03 – Written and oral expression and communication

- Use the various registers of written and oral expression in the French language with ease.

- Communicate orally and in writing, clearly and unambiguously, in at least one foreign language

BC04 - Positioning within a professional field

- Identify and contextualise professional fields potentially related to the qualifications obtained through the specialisation, as well as possible pathways to enter them

- Describe and promote one’s identity, skills and career plans in accordance with a given context

BC05 - Acting responsibly within a professional organisation

- Understanding one’s role and responsibilities within an organisation in order to adapt and take the initiative

- Adhering to the principles of ethics, professional conduct and environmental responsibility.

Education Nationale certified teachers, Bac +3 trainers with significant experience in adult training, professional speakers, trainers validated by the CNAM;

This course comprises certifiable skill modules, which can be undertaken and validated separately.

Assessments are organised throughout the course to evaluate the candidate’s progress and their mastery of professional skills.

The assessments take place at the end of the programme (one-off assessment) based on a professional portfolio and an interview with a panel of industry professionals.

In apprenticeship: The training is accessible up to 3 months after the start of the course, subject to validation of your application, the assignments given in the host structure (diploma compliance) and available places.
