The aim of this HR pathway is to train students to master the issues involved in managing human resources in a company, the administrative and technical bases of HR processes and the administrative functions at the heart of personnel management. It provides a cross-disciplinary view of all HR issues in a company. Holders of this degree course are able to take on specific tasks relating to various HR functions.
Programme:
- Be proficient in core Human Resources policies;
- Implement tools and methods for recruitment, training, career management, skills management, payroll, remuneration, pensions and provident schemes;
- Be proficient in internal communication tools and methods, as well as ICT;
- Be able to assist the Head of Human Resources in managing industrial relations;
- Assist managers in implementing HR tools: career management, recruitment, employment, skills management, remuneration, payroll and industrial relations;
- Supervise, lead and monitor the administrative management of staff (headcount, staff movements, working hours, individual records, remuneration and social security contributions) ;
- Ensure compliance with general working conditions and social legislation;
- Liaise with social security and administrative bodies;
- Gather and interpret the information required for employment law (research and verify relevant legislation, establish a legal monitoring system) ;
- Inform and advise colleagues and clients on legal matters;
- Keep mandatory documents and declarations up to date;
- Manage the operational aspects of social protection (compensation, sick leave, pension calculations) ;
- Have a thorough understanding of levels of social security cover (statutory social security, supplementary cover, third-tier pensions and personal protection schemes);
- Draft contracts, manage their monitoring and amendments, and apply legal procedures;
- Draft documents (agendas for committee meetings, notices of meetings, notifications of decisions) and procedures;
- Prepare for staff elections and working sessions (in-house negotiations);
- Be proficient in English.
Throughout the programme, learners receive personalised support with regular monitoring by the teaching team and progress reviews to tailor the learning experience to each individual’s needs.
The work placement also enables participants to develop professional skills in a real-world setting.
Skills are assessed progressively through role-plays, practical exercises, professional projects and assessments carried out throughout the course.
