The category B1 aircraft maintenance licence.3 allows its holder to issue certificates of release to service and to act as support staff within the meaning of Regulation (EU) No 1321/2014 following:

maintenance work carried out on the structure, powerplant and mechanical and electrical systems of turbine-powered helicopters
work on the avionics systems of turbine-powered aircraft requiring only simple tests to demonstrate correct operation and not requiring troubleshooting

Qualification that allows the holder to hold a position as an APRSeur in a PART145 maintenance organisation.
