Identifying the specific features of on-board system cabling
Knowing on-board energy production methods
Intervening in on-board energy distribution circuits
Diagnosing and intervening in malfunctions
Operating an on-board service electrical installation

The training enables students to acquire basic notions about circuits while working on real-life fault simulations

- On-board switchgear technology

- Blueprint reading, fault finding and repair,

- Engine starting system wiring (direct and alternating current)

- Different modes of on-board electricity generation, alternator coupling

- On-board electrical power distribution (switchboards, normal/emergency network, ..)

- Low voltage electrical circuit wiring

- Corrosion rules, devices applied to the ship.

Certification of prior learning
