Weekly start-up

In a context of digital transformation and high stakes in skills development in the digital sector, the Tosa DigComp certification covers five major skills areas in line with the Digital Skills Reference Framework (DSRF) derived from the European Common Reference Framework DIGCOMP 2.1: Information and Data, Communication and Collaboration, Digital Content Creation, Digital Security, Digital Device Problem Solving. TOSA certification will be issued with a score corresponding to a level. A minimum score of 551 (i.e. operational level) is required to obtain the DIGCOMP.


Operational level (Tosa score 551 to 725)

  • Compare different sources of information - Filter your search - Understand the usefulness of caches, cookies and bookmarks - Regularly classify data
  • Manage, classify and sort email - Use mailing lists - Share a file by email - Apply the rules for using social networks
  • Produce digital content in the main formats - Use one or more spreadsheet and word-processing programs - Apply formatting, Insert images and do calculations - Understand the basics of creating a web page
  • Know most computer hardware and what it is used for - Solve the most common problems - Connect to the Internet whatever the hardware
  • Identify the essential security features of digital devices (firewall, antivirus Configure and protect your digital identity

Advanced level (Tosa score 726 to 875)

  • Evaluate the credibility and source of information gathered
  • Create and manage your digital identity - Use public and private digital services Use public and private digital services - Adapt communication strategies
  • Use the advanced functions of different office automation tools - Manage different types of licences
  • Resolve connection problems, hacking attempts, data storage
  • Understand the challenges of IT security (data confidentiality, identity) - Evaluating digital security risks and protecting equipment and data - Identifying malicious programmes and their consequences and keeping abreast of new developments

Expert level (Tosa score 876 to 1000)

  • Using the various Internet monitoring tools - Using hosting sites - Creating and updating strategies for monitoring the Internet Create and update personal search strategies
  • Use digital content referencing and attribution practices - Seek opportunities for empowerment and participatory citizenship through appropriate digital technologies
  • Master the production and editing of complex multimedia content in different formats, on different platforms, tools and environments - Create a website using a CMS
  • Use all internet connection technologies and choose the most appropriate one - Exploit the means of keeping abreast of technological advances
  • Encrypt emails and files - Use a digital signature - Understand the physical and psychological risks associated with the misuse of information and communication technologies
