DIGCOMP - TOSA certification

Against a backdrop of digital transformation and significant challenges in upskilling within the digital sector, the Tosa DigComp certification covers five key areas of competence in line with the Digital Competence Reference Framework (CRCN), which is based on the European Common Reference Framework DIGCOMP 2.1:

• Information and data,
• Communication and collaboration,
• Digital content creation,
• Digital security,
• Troubleshooting digital devices.

Operational level (Tosa score 551 to 725)

• Compare different sources of information - Filter your search - Understand the usefulness of caches, cookies and bookmarks - Regularly classify data

Expert level (Tosa score 876 to 1000)

• Mixed training

The course combines face-to-face and distance learning. Learning takes place through a mix of sessions at the centre, virtual classes, online resources and regular support from the trainer.

Participant satisfaction is assessed during and at the end of the training programme.

Interviews and remedial action with the educational liaison officer and/or the company liaison officer take place during the training programme.

Assessment takes place prior to the start of the training programme.

Education Nationale certified teachers, Bac +3 trainers with significant experience in adult education, professional lecturers.

The TOSA certification will be awarded with a score indicating a level (from operational to expert).

To obtain the DIGCOMP, a minimum score of 551 (i.e. operational level) is required.

Assessment methods:

• Adaptive algorithm: the difficulty of the questions adapts to the candidate’s level throughout the test
• IRT (Item Response Theory) scoring: score out of 1,000
• Question types: practical exercises in a digital environment (web browser, spreadsheet, word processing software, email client, etc.), interactive activities (matching, drag-and-drop, clicking on areas, drop-down lists, etc.), multiple-choice questions.
• Test format: 45 questions – 75 minutes
