Discovering the hotel and catering professions

At the end of this exploration-training course, the jobseeker will be able to:

- Identify the activities of hotel and catering companies, their production and marketing conditions, their requirements and the specific features linked to this sector, particularly in terms of recruitment and seasonality.

- Understand a career plan in one of the trades in this professional sector.

The training leading to the "Découverte Métiers de l'hôtellerie et de la restauration" includes the following modules:

- Knowledge of the socio-economic environment of the hotel and catering industry

- Discovering the different professions in the hotel and catering industry

- Communicating information in French and English

- Understanding concrete situations related to the hotel and catering professions

- Developing behaviour and physical abilities related to the professions

Professional integration in the hotel and catering professions

Pursue training at CAP or Bac professionnel level in the hotel and catering fields: Certificats d'aptitudes professionnelles (CAP), Certificats de qualification professionnelle (CQP), Titres Professionnels or Bacs Professionnels.
