At the end of their training, gas heating appliance maintenance technicians will be able to:

- carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, servicing and troubleshooting on domestic and collective heating installations, excluding any industrial installations.

- work on boilers whose function is to heat water to a preset temperature via a gas burner and transmit this heated water to radiators (the radiator will allow heat to be exchanged between two media: water - ambient air), and/or to produce Domestic Hot Water (DHW).

- carry out work on appliances where the technologies are either of the condensing or atmospheric burner type, which can be connected to a chimney flue, a GAS Controlled Mechanical Ventilation (CMV) or a suction cup.

- work on gas-fired heating appliances with a maximum output of 70 kW, installed on the floor or wall.

- adapt to the constraints, specific safety rules and authorisations associated with work sites and assess the risks: prepare and organise your work rigorously, adapt it to customers and users and choose specific protective equipment.

Skill block 1 - Carrying out preventive maintenance on a gas-fired heating appliance

- Ensuring the regulatory compliance of a gas-fired heating appliance

- Carrying out a preventive inspection of a gas-fired heating appliance

Skill block 2 - Carrying out corrective maintenance on a gas-fired heating appliance

- Diagnosing the malfunction of a gas-fired heating appliance

-. Putting a gas-fired appliance back into service

Skill block 3 - Commissioning a gas-fired appliance

- Checking that the installation is in order

- Adjusting the appliance according to the heating and domestic hot water distribution parameters

- Explaining the operating instructions to the customer

By the end of the training course, the professional will have obtained all the electrical approvals required to work on electrical installations, in particular types of work B1/1/VBR, in compliance with the regulations and health, safety and environmental rules in force.

Total maximum duration of 540 hours, of which 1,250 hours in a company and 540 hours at the training centre.
