The installer-maintainer in solar thermal and photovoltaic systems is proficient in both fields.
He provides comprehensive expertise, enabling him to work on all aspects of the solar installation: plumbing - heating, roofing - zinc work, electricity - regulation, solar thermal and photovoltaic systems. They are also able to advise on, define and draw up a technical proposal.
The holder of the CQP "Installer-maintainer in solar thermal and photovoltaic systems" is recognised within the National Collective Agreement for Building Workers at Level IV Position 1.
This training differs from that for heating engineers. It meets a strong demand in the solar thermal and photovoltaic market.
BC01 - Organise the installation or maintenance of solar thermal and photovoltaic systems in complete safety
Plan the work from an administrative, human, material, logistical and safety point of view, based on the execution project and in discussion with your line manager, in order to guarantee that the site starts within the planned timeframe
Install the tools, materials and consumables (in the right place, in the right quantity and to the right size), in accordance with the team leader's instructions, in order to carry out the solar panel installation work under the expected conditions of safety, quality and deadline
Store the equipment (tools, accessories and means of access to the roof) from the worksite, by storing it in the dedicated areas or by applying the procedures for returning equipment to the hire company provided for by the company
Clean up the work area, in compliance with the instructions, in order to guarantee the continuity of activities in the area at the end of the works
Deliver the completed installation by completing the necessary paperwork and presenting its operation to the customer, so that the latter can use it correctly over time and facilitate future maintenance operations
BC02 - Install and maintain solar thermal and photovoltaic systems safely
Participate in drawing up the estimate for installing or maintaining the solar system, in support of his/her line manager, by discussing the customer's expectations and taking part in the diagnostic work on the installation to be created/existing, in order to offer the customer a tailor-made quotation corresponding to his/her needs
Participate in drawing up the execution file, in support of his/her line manager, on the basis of the diagnosis and the pre-established estimate, to prepare for the installation of solar systems under the expected conditions of safety, quality and deadline
Fix the structure by overlaying or integrating the solar panels/captors, while ensuring that the work is watertight, in order to guarantee the quality of the work carried out
Mount the solar panels on the roof or frame, using the appropriate lifting equipment and complying with the handling specific to each product, in order to guarantee that they are installed in good condition
Connect the photovoltaic or thermal solar panels, ensuring that the installation functions correctly, to finalise the installation of the photovoltaic or thermal solar panels
To carry out the necessary maintenance work, based on the execution file and the maintenance follow-up sheets, to enable the installation to be used over time, in complete safety, and in the expected quality conditions
