The installer/maintainer masters the fields specific to heat pumps and the technical environment in which these systems are used in terms of technical combinations. He carries out the activities and tasks entrusted to him after having familiarised himself with the instructions and directives, in compliance with the regulations in force, the premises and the protection of property and people. He takes into account the imperatives of quality, site safety, time and cost, providing advice, assistance and listening to the user occupying the premises. He carries out these actions in compliance with prevention, safety and regulations relating to the upkeep and maintenance of these installations.
The training complies with the reference framework of the joint National Joint Employment Commissions for the Building and Public Works sectors:
BC01 - Organise the heat pump system installation and maintenance operation
Plan the operation in terms of equipment, logistics, techniques and regulations, based on the instructions from the line manager, in order to ensure that the heat pump installation is carried out on schedule and in complete safety
Install the tools, materials and consumables on the site, according to the instructions of the line manager in order to carry out the installation of the heat pump in complete safety
Store the equipment, storing it in the dedicated area or returning it to the company in order to free up the work area
Clean up the work area, in compliance with the instructions, in order to guarantee the continuity of activities in the area at the close of the worksite
Deliver the installation of the heat pump to the customer, completing the necessary paperwork and presenting its operation to the customer, for optimum and sustainable use
BC02 - Carry out heat pump system installation and maintenance work
Install the heat pump, complying with regulations, standards and good practice, in order to guarantee its operation
Check the work at the end of the site, ensuring that it presents no risk when in use, in order to guarantee the safety and compliance of the work carried out
Diagnose the operation of the heat pump, by carrying out tests to check that it is working properly
Maintain the heat pump's operation, complying with standards and regulations, in order to ensure the durability of the equipment
Refrigerants and refrigerant brazing (including aptitude tests for handling refrigerants)
BR electrical accreditation (including tests)
PRAP IBC (Prevention of risks related to physical activity) SST (first aid at work)

Any person meeting the pre-requisites defined by the Fédération Française du Union des Entreprises de Génie Climatique et énergétique de France -UECF).
A minimum of 3 years' professional experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical or refrigeration engineering would be a plus
