CPJEPS – Specialisation in the organisation of activities and daily life within any leisure and socio-cultural organisation

The candidate will be able to:

. Organise social, cultural or sporting activities

The training course is organised into several skill modules, enabling step-by-step progression. It alternates between theoretical input, practical application and assessment sessions in order to promote hands-on, progressive learning.

BC01 – Safely preparing and leading educational activities for groups within an organisation offering leisure and socio-cultural activities

• Selecting an activity suited to the participants by drawing on different areas of activity to encourage everyone’s participation
• Defining the content of an activity session within the framework of community education and the organisation’s mission, by choosing methods, techniques and tools suited to the participants to ensure the session runs smoothly
• Safely lead activity sessions with groups by mastering the techniques required for the proposed activity in order to encourage participation among participants, particularly those with disabilities
• Conduct a review of activity sessions using evaluation tools in order to make improvements to future sessions

BC02 - Organise and safely facilitate the group’s daily routine within facilities offering leisure and socio-cultural activities

• Structure daily routines within a safe environment, taking into account the needs of participants, particularly those with disabilities, in order to promote their independence
• Supervise a group safely during daily routines, adapting one’s approach to the venue and the participants in order to promote learning to live together whilst respecting everyone

BC03 - Contribute to the running of an organisation that organises leisure and socio-cultural activities

• Identify one’s role and the various stakeholders within one’s professional environment and/or organisation in order to contribute to its running
• Work as part of a team of professionals and/or volunteers by proposing activities designed to contribute to the organisation’s mission
• Welcome members of the public to the organisation by adapting one’s communication to their specific needs, particularly those with disabilities, in order to support them in discovering a diverse range of activities

• Professional certification for youth, popular education and sport issued by the Ministry of Sport Level 3

The training takes place in person at the centre, which provides the ideal setting for building group dynamics, encouraging interactive discussions between trainees and making use of professional equipment.

• Room equipped with networked computer workstations
• Unmarked room with video projector

Positioning upstream of entry to training.

Interviews, remediation with the educational referent and/or company referent during training.

Taking into account the satisfaction of beneficiaries during and at the end of training.

Possibility of post-training support.

For beneficiaries with disabilities: possible adaptation of training and certification methods, support by the GRETA-CFA TH referent.

The trainers and lecturers are experienced in the field of socio-cultural activities (minimum 3 years' experience). Trainers have a minimum level II qualification (bachelor's degree, professional bachelor's degree, master's degree) with a minimum of 3 years' experience in continuing education and/or in the professional field taught.

This course consists of certified skill modules, which can be undertaken and assessed separately.

The certificate is awarded once the candidate has demonstrated that they have successfully completed all three skill modules;

Holders of this qualification may work in:

. Organisations: leisure centres, neighbourhood associations, community centres, youth and cultural centres, sports clubs

. Local authorities (town halls, communities of municipalities) with responsibility for sport, leisure activities or youth services

. Holiday villages or leisure centres.
