CACES® R489 - category 1A: ride-on pallet trucks without raising the driving position

Safely operate ride-on pallet trucks without raising the driving position.

Fulfil the regulatory requirement for appropriate training (art. R.4323-55 of the French Labour Code). This certification incorporates the skills defined in recommendation R.489 cited in the title of this dossier.

1. Carry out a shift by mobilising knowledge of regulations and ensuring appropriate checks to guarantee safe driving.

2. Carry out driving operations in compliance with safety rules.

3. Carry out manoeuvres and handling operations in compliance with safety rules.

4. Carry out daily servicing and maintenance operations, identifying any malfunctions and reporting on them.
